Pirates of the Caribbean
OK, yes, this was based on a Disney ride and featured Legolas in a very Legolas-like role. But if you can get past that, it features some amazing comedy, swordplay and action. The history behind this story is legendary, and it really re-opened many peoples' eyes to the history of the Caribbean and the legends that grew around the pirates in those waters.
