Japan’s top literature prize went to a “practically flawless” novel – turns out much of it was guided or outright written by ChatGPT.
Human writers better get published soon. We’re about to be overwhelmed by thousands of new ChatGPT novels every day.
It’s not that far away. Amazon is already setting limits so that authors can only submit a certain number of new novels each day, with an aim of reining in the ChatGPT auto-generated works.
What if that daily novel limit is 10 per person. Every single day a ChatGPT-driven author could submit 10 entirely new novels in any sub-sub-genre they want. Whatever you write, there could be 10 top-notch new competitors, every single day, tackling your exact topics.
And there are thousands of authors doing this.
What are your thoughts?
Why bother to write anything unless you must or are driven to? How do we compete with this? Horrors! Tasha
