Sakura Tokyo Restaurant

Sakura Tokyo is a steakhouse with a lounge area that has local bands. They have a regular sit-down meal area, and a sushi bar, and also a steakhouse area where they cook at the tables in front of you. The cuts of meat are extremely good. This is very popular with the kids and any given night will see a birthday party or two of kids and young adults.
We've taken many, many trips out here. Each time, the food and sushi was very good, as expected, but even when we were the only table running, service was poor. A series of mix-ups and other confusion occurred. This happens just about every time we're there. The whole feeling was one of emptiness and casual attention. If you're in the Worcester area and in a hurry, you might do better to head in to Chef Orient.
Note: A friend of ours lives near Sakura Toyo and eats sushi all the time. This was his favorite Japanese restaurant for many years and he loved the quality of the sushi. However, he was downcast when his favorite sushi chef left in 2002. It just hasn't been the same since.
