The 1976 Paris Tasting
Fri, Feb 28 2003: David Bruce Winery
Done with the city, we drove down towards the David Bruce Winery. It is located in Los Gatos, up in the Santa Cruz mountains. Along the way I saw many gorgeous trees.
Here's a lake we passed over as we headed south.
Up we went into the mountains. The roads were VERY steep and cut back and forth along a sharp cliff edge. The scenery was beautiful when we could see it! Eventually we got up to the winery and had a wonderful time there. You can read about the David Bruce Winery trip on my WineIntro.com Wine Site.
Finally, we were ready to head home. We stopped at a scenic overlook to take these photos before descending the mountain again.

When we were done, we grabbed some BBQ for dinner, then headed back to our hotel.
