USER SUBMITTED NOTES
Submitted 11/28/2010 9:04:53 PM : Since I'm one of the editors, I dislike reviewing our own site. However, since I pride myself on my ability to select and copyedit content, generally I find the quality of our posted submissions equal to or better than other similar sites. Contributors vary in age from 18 to 80, and come from around the world. Our sister e-zine is Yellow Mama, which contains adult material. I am in the process of trying to self-publish my first speculative fiction, a fantasy, so am sympathetic to reviewing other first-time authors' works, and especially those of older college- or university-employed writers in the dark or SF genres. My fellow editor is a retired motorcycle policeman and now a hospital security guard. We both love helping out our fellow writers, as well as entertaining readers who enjoy speculative fiction. Quality and courtesy are hallmarks of our approach, and we welcome e-mailed submissions.
