MIJ We Bought - Now They Want More
Westgate Timeshare Resort Issues

Date of Incident: 11/13/2003

Thank you for posting this website. I am so angry right now I could scream. We purchased a 2-bdrm lockout from Westgate Resorts two years ago. We just paid if off last month. I called today to book my vacation for spring break 2004. We were told that we had purchased a "value week." These words were never used during the sales pitch, nor at any time in the last two years, we went on vacation in 2002 there and it was never mentioned. When we purchased our timeshare we were told that we had a "floating week" that could be used at any time. Now they are telling us we can only come on off-season, unless of course we want to upgrade. Amazing how as soon as it was paid off they come up with this little "clause" in our contract-just to suck more money out of us.

I think it's time for a class-action lawsuit!!
