Westgate Timeshare Resort Issues
Date of Incident: 8/26/2005
I just received a phone call from a Westgate representative. I was greeted and apparently he got my# from the internet where I had been researching Orlando.( I am not sure how he actually got my #) He went through a whole thing, something about a Disney vacation and hotel in exchange for a 90 minute “tour” of Westgate facilities. He spoke so fast I didn’t have time to write down what he was saying. When I said I wasn’t interested he offered to “upgrade our hotel to a condo with a kitchen and two bedrooms. Then he asked me to hold so he could get my upgrade approved. I agreed to hold.
While on hold I decided to look on the web, to see what I could find out about Westgate. That’s when I found your site. After a few minutes a different man came on the phone and I told him I had changed my mind after looking up his company on the web. Thanks for saving me a lot of trouble and wasting of our precious vacation time.
