Setting the Lulu Preview

Paperback Self Publishing

Once your book goes live on Lulu, the next thing you want to do is set up the preview. This is equivalent to the "Look Inside" on Amazon. While Amazon generates that for you automatically, on Lulu you need to do it manually.

Go back to your projects.

Click on the book you just made.

About halfway down the page is "Preview" - click to edit that.

LULU Creating a Full Cover

This is the "look inside". You can set it to be whatever pages you wish. You might want it to be the first few pages of the story, for example, so people can read that and get enthralled by it. For my Mused Literary Review, I set it to a few of the most photogenic pages to illustrate the nature of our poetry - artwork layout.
