Bennet
Pride and Prejudice Jane Austen

The Bennet homestead is a quiet location in all the stories. It is big enough to hold a family of five kids, but it is reasonably modest in terms of "well to do families". On the other hand, I'm sure many people in England would love to have a house this large!! None of them have to work. The daughters solely think about getting married, none ever consider taking a (gasp) job. The father doesn't do anything - he reconciles the family finances, at most, and reads books while sipping port. They have maids and a cook.
