Betsy OXENDINE OF ROBESON
Lumbee American Indians

Betsy Oxendine from Robeson is the daughter of Charles Oxendine, born 1741 and therefore the granddaughter of the famous John Oxendine from Virginia, the beginning of all Oxendines!

Betsy had at least two children. We know this because two of her kids were taken away from her.

1782:
She had "John" who was "a mullattoe base born child" who was given to Neil McRainy in the Cumberland County Court on Oct 28 1786.

1787:
She had "Nance" a "mulato" girl who was given to James Dyer, Esquire on Oct 28 1788.
