My grandmother was Ruth Shea.
Father James Edward Shea Jr. married Florence Reynolds his Father James Edward Shea sr. married Catherine Devine
His father Daniel Shea married Ellen (or Helen) Frances Reddington.
This all occurred in Boston, and Daniel Shea was in Boston circa 1850. I have seen all the census records, which verify my family's own records, but this is as far as I go.
I would love to learn Daniel's father's name, but I suspect he never came over from Ireland.
If you could tell me where Daniel was born and where his parents were born, I would be most appreciative. The 1860, 1870, 1880 census should all show this.
