Have you or any of your clan have any info SHEA/SHAY in Philadelphia, PA about the turn of the century (1900)?
Ive had all sorts of problems, researched SHEA 'till blue (oops, green) in the face, then discovered "they" had changed from SHAY!
Michael, or Patrick, or Michael Patrick married Mary KELLEHER, and had 5 children in Phila. I'm still researching them. I am descended from their daughter Annie.
I have some more details if you are interested. There was also family folklore about a boxer in the family, Daniel SHEA? Ring any bells?
