Gewurztraminer - German Sweet Wine

Gewurztraminer is one of the most famous wines of Germany. Literally meaning Spice Grapes, Gewurztraminer is a sweet, floral wine with spicy flavors.

Gewurztraminer is actually the name of the white grape used to make the wine as well as the wine itself. This grape is grown all over Germany, as well as in California, France and various other countries.

Gewurztraminer is meant to be drunk immediately, although it can last up to 4 years from its harvest date.
