Some old wives tales claim that when you have sex during your cycle determines if the child is a girl or a boy. True or false?

This was somehow based on the thought that 'boy sperm' swam more quickly. Of course this is completely untrue, studies have shown that how a sperm swims has nothing to do with it being an XX (girl) or XY (boy) chromosome. The only thing that determines which sex the baby is is which of those sperm happens to get to the egg first.
