Ever hear of the headline - Woman Sues after Eating Contraceptive Jelly? Well despite being reported by Ann Landers, Jay Leno and many more, it's simply not true.

The story usually says that the woman in question was a 'typical dumb woman' - a cheerleader, a model, a blonde, or all three. She didn't bother to read the instructions on the contraceptive jelly, which clearly said to put it inside the vagina.

Instead she ate it on toast, or served it to friends as an appetizer, or some other embarassing thing.

It was even reported that the jelly-woman got so embarassed over everyone picking on her for her mistake that she committed suicide. Since the incident never happened, and the woman never existed, she certainly never killed herself!
