Cool Geometry
Here are some interesting shapes I've found on the net. I love the torus especially. MMmmmmmmm, torus.
- Dodecagon: simply a 12-sided shape
- Isosceles Triangle
- A Klein Bottle
- A Mobius Band. Cut one along the middle of the band, and you get two interlocking rings!!
- parallelpiped: a prism whose opposite faces are all parallelograms and congruent (in pairs)
- A Rhombus
- Scalene Triangle (a triangle with three unequal sides)
- A Torus
- A Trapezoid
- Whitney's Umbrella (this one's sort of tricky, make sure you look at the various pictures from different angles
