All of my origami mobiles are hand created to order, with your chosen paper style and bead options. This eight crane mobile was created with the beautiful traditional blues and purples of high quality aizome paper. The shape chosen is that of a goldfish, a traditional symbol of learning and community.
While most mobiles involve gemstone beads to hold the items onto the strings, with goldfish that is not possible. There is no "bottom" to a goldfish shape. So these are held on by clasps within the goldfish body.
The mobile is approximately 14" from top beam to bottom crane bottom. It is approximately 20" wide at its fullest extension configuration.
Note that I leave the center X "free" so if you *do* want to make the X wider or shorter, to add visual appeal, you have the ability to do that.
