Size Origami Crane Earrings

To give you a better sense of the size of the origami crane earrings, here are a series of photos demonstrating the relative size of the earrings. In these images, the large white crane with pink-green-orange flowers is a standard sized crane. This crane is created with 6" square paper. The gold crane to the lower side of the image is a "half sized" crane, created from 3" square paper. The tiny cranes are the earring cranes, created from 2" squares of paper. The resulting crane is about 1 1/2" long from wingtip to wingtip.
