I love Christmas stamps! They change every year and they're very pretty!

These Christmas and holiday stamps were painstakingly collected over many decades by Walter Samora, the grandfather of my boyfriend. Walter entrusted my boyfriend with their care, and I am now making it my mission to load them all online so that they can be enjoyed by the entire world.

Note that Christmas stamps were first printed in the US in 1962, with over a BILLION stamps printed for this one year's holiday season!

There was considerable debate about a US organization printing religious stamps - particularly since they only created stamps for Christmas and not for any other religion's holiday. The next religion they featured wasn't until 1996 - over thirty years later - when they created a Hannukah stamp.
