Romantic Restaurants near Worcester
It can be challenging to find a romantic restaurant. My number one criteria for a romantic restaurant is that it is reasonablly quiet. It is hard to have a gentle, romantic conversation when babies are screaming at the next table! If I wait all year for that one special dinner with my true love, I want to be able to hear what we are saying to each other.1. The Castle, Leicester
Flowers at the table. Courtly service. Delicious food. I would love to go here for every single special occasion :) It's dress up and fairly expensive, and worth every penny.
2. Cedar Street Restaurant, Sturbridge
Delicious food, crisp tableclothes, this is perfect for an elegant evening. It is of the "white and clean" variety rather than the "dark wood and moody" variety.
3. Via, Worcester
A bit noisy, but this is the best Italian restaurant I find to include. I love the decor with the candles hanging above the tables, and the food and staff are exceptional. Ask for a quiet table in the back.
4. Publick House, Sturbridge
Eat downstairs in the quiet room vs the large noisy room upstairs. You can get a spot with high backed comfy chairs and feel like you're in your own little world. Great food and an authentically historic atmosphere from the 1700s.
