I was just cruising around when I saw a name that was familiar. There is a Pesce family in a little town in New York called Saugerties. They own and operate a bread bakery (I love it!). I don't know if this is helpful to you, but I figured that, as you say there don't seem to be a lot of Pesces around so maybe they are related and can give you some background. Their address is Pesce's Bakery, R.D.# 1 Malden Turnpike, Saugerties N.Y. 12477. This comes off the bread bag.
